Saving money...Update!

So, in just a short amount of time we have saved a lot of money! We cut ALL spending other than food and gas (and mortgage, etc of course) for just two weeks. Meaning, we cooked dinner and brought our lunches to work. We didn't run out to Wal-Mart for little stuff here and there, and put a pause on any hobby spending (pinball machine parts, etc.). I'll have to wait until the end of the month to post how much we actually saved overall. I'm excited to see the result. Because we're doing less expensive presents for Christmas this year, I think we might actually start the year off on a really good note.
