kombucha update

So today, I jiggled the pitcher that my kombucha is brewing in. And there were bubbles!!! It was fizzy! I am going to wait until tomorrow, and then pull some out with the baster and see if it's ready. It smells like kombucha now, but I just want to make sure it has eaten all the sugar up. It has been about 8 days, so the timing is about right. Exciting!
