Is it almost the end of September?

Okay, this summer has flown by. August...what happened to August? I don't remember anything about that month except that it was deliciously, unseasonably cool. Our electric bill from August 15 - September 15 was $90!!!! Anyone who lives in the Baltimore area and has to put up with the soulless BGE will understand how cool it is to have a bill that low (almost 3 times as low as normal).
Anyway, lately we've been busy again on projects around the house. After our summer guests left in mid-August, we wrote a list of things needing to be done before winter:
install roman shade in our bedroom
paint the basement stairwell/stairs
re-tile the 1/2 bath downstairs and the hall bath upstairs
re-finish the wood floors downstairs (den/living room/dining room)
install the bookshelves in the den
sand and paint upstairs bathroom

We've gotten started, but I'm not sure how we'll get it all done in the next 2 months. This is our busiest time at work (haven't figured out when our "slow" time of year is yet). It's the end of the fiscal year for the government, so we have requests for quotes and contracts being issued every day. It's a good thing I've got 2 people working for me now. Actually 3 if you count Rachel, who comes in twice a week. Last year I was all alone and hatin' life at this point. By the time Christmas rolled around I felt like I was 10 years older and was having chest pains. Not kidding...it's really stressful to be responsible for so much. I'm trying to take it a bit easier this year :).
