Bad news first?

So bad news: From the end of February until last week (about three weeks), I was in constant pain again. For anyone who doesn't know yet, I have endometriosis. Two weeks ago, my doctor told me that he thought my job was causing my pain and he recommended that I switch jobs, reduce my hours, or quit altogether. Since we bought a house last year, quitting was not an option. So now the good news: I finally got up the courage to talk to my boss about it on Thursday, and it went so much better than I thought it would. My boss is such a sweet guy, and basically said "just tell me what you need and we'll make it work". I was floored! Of course, I bawled like a big baby because I couldn't help it. I will now be working 8am - 2pm. I'll be available in the afternoon for calls, and will hop on and check emails at some point to make sure everything gets forwarded to him that needs to be taken care of that day. But I will be relaxing! I'm planning on coming home and taking a walk with the dog, weeding the garden, and taking a yoga class at the gym that starts at 5pm. It's going to be such a change, that I am looking forward to Monday just to see what it will be like! I'll be able to make dinner for Chris, go grocery shopping, drop off dry cleaning, or just take a nap. I'm really optimistic about how this will affect my health. I'll keep ya updated :).
